Prairie Moon 3 is an edition based on the prototype sculpture, Prairie Moon 2. There are a total of 8 pieces in the series. All of them are made from the same types of wood; quarter-sawn white oak, mahogany, walnut, and maple. However, the types of wood for the individual elements of the sculpture vary from piece to piece so no two of the eight are the same. These pieces are 19½" tall by 13" at their widest point.
